UNIGIT Demo Version

Convince yourself about the performance of UNIGIT by testing it for free.

- Just download and save the ZIP file to your hard disc and unzip it
- Then, start the setup.exe. It will lead you through the installation
- After the code is installed a new icon should appear on your desktop
- Now you can launch UNIGIT by double clicking the icon
- A tutorial PDF document gives some examples how to utilize UNIGIT.
- It might happen that some MFC DLL's are still required - see below

Since you installed a Demo version it will run with some limitations. You can take full advantage of the performance of UNIGIT by ordering a hardlock. Just send an email to support@unigit.com

Full Versions

ZIP: UNIGIT Upgrade

www_unigit_v20101_vista_built2011-10-26.zip

This is the new version 2.01.01 of UNIGIT. It is only available for Vista and Windows 7, XP will not be supported from version 2.01.01 upwards. The installation comes with the latest Hardlock driver from Aladdin. In case you encounter problems with the driver, please check www.aladdin.com and download the appropriate driver.

Version 2.01.01 offers the complete functionality of all former version including the speed accelerator for 2D gratings and the new 3D features of version 1.02.04.

The new version was completely redesigned. This becomes visible first when starting the GUI. It now accomodates an option to save the complete input information when a computation run is started to a project file (extension .upr) from which all the information can be retrieved and the computation results can easily be traced back and verified. Input and stack files can be restored from an .upr file. Moreover, all kind of result output (efficiency, amplitude, phase, ellipsometric signal) can be extracted quickly on demand avoiding time consuming rerun of the computation kernel. In addition, the diffraction angles (theta and phi) can be output. The other new striking feature of Unigit is the implementation of a C-method solver for 1D gratings. It ideally supplements the RCWA solver engine. Particular grating profiles such as Echelles can be run very fast and accurate even for very high orders. The implementation of a C-method solver for crossed gratings and the closer combination of RCWA and C-method is planned for one of the next versions.

www_unigit_v10204Beta_XP_built230710.zip

This is the Beta version 1.02.04 of UNIGIT. Please, use the according version for installation under Vista& Windows 7 or XP. The installation comes with the latest Hardlock driver from Aladdin. In case you encounter problems with the driver, please check www.aladdin.com and download the appropriate driver. First of all, the most striking news is the accelerator for 2D gratings. This gives up to a factor of 12 ... 15 speed gain (standard is 4 ... 8). Further new features are nested ellipse and double holes as well as the direct input of a generic 3D ellipsoid. The latter feature saves the user from tedious input of 3D bodies and does an equidistant 3D slicing itself due to specification. For more details about the new features please read the document "what is new in version 1.02.04" .

www_unigit_v10202_Vista_built250509.zip

www_unigit_v10202_built111208.zip

Version 1.02.02 of UNIGIT is not supported any longer. The downloads will be available though. Please, use either built 250509 for installation under Vista or XP. Built 111208 is kept only as a backup for XP installation. After having installed the Vista/W7 version, please, replace the unigit_2d.exe that is copied during the installation into the root file by the exe contained in the installation zip file !

Features: - Non-orthogonal unit cells can be handled (e.g., hexagonal patterns),
- The shape of the unit cell is defined by the input non-orthogonality angle zeta. (Zeta = 0 results gives an orthogonal cell.
- Generalized-ellipse feature (ellipse power as parameter) which enables to define every shape between ellipse and rectangle,
- Choice whether the ellipse is defined "real world orthogonal coordinates", or in the unit cell coordinates which means that the ellipse is distorted in the real world.
- Improved stack editor with inter stack copy and paste options.

Version 1.02.02 is down compatible in terms of the file input, i.e., stack files generated by older versions of UNIGIT can be read by version 1.02.02 without crashing or error message. Hereby, the unit cell is automatically set to orthogonal and the ellipse power is set to 2. Then, the stack file is automatically saved in the new format.
